Talimena National Scenic Byway
Location: South Eastern Oklahoma - Base City, Talihina, Oklahoma.

Highway 1 (Highway 88 in Arkansas).
The Talimena Scenic Byway runs from Talihina, Oklahoma to Mena, Arkansas and sports some of the best riding and site-seeing in Oklahoma. 60 miles total one-way. Crosses Queen Wilhelmina State Park and Lodge located on Rich Mountain.




Indian Highway
Location: South Eastern Oklahoma - Base City, Hanobia, Oklahoma.

Highway 144
The Indian Highway sports many twisties and switchbacks. From the North, it runs from Highway 271 just South of Talihina, OK. to Highway 259, South of Smithville, OK. The only caution for this road will be bad asphalt in places and a few potholes. 35 miles total one-way.




Heavener and Wister
Location: South to Central Eastern Oklahoma - Base City, Talihina, Oklahoma.

Highway 63, 259, 59, 270 and 271.
This route starts in Talihina and ends in Talihina. Route takes you through some beautiful countryside and forests. In Heavener, be sure to stop and see the Runestone. Then travel through Wister State Park and Lake Wister Dam. In addition, Hwy 82 from Red Oak would be a good alternative if you'v e already been down Hwy 271 to Talihina.




Wilburton and Robbers Cave
Location: South Eastern Oklahoma - Base City, Antlers, Oklahoma.

Highway 2
Don't under estimate Highway 2 in Oklahoma. It has some of the best cruising and scenery around especially between Antlers and Clayon, OK. Sweepers galore and some fine twisties North of Clayton, OK. Once you're in Wilburton, be sure to continue on Hwy 2 to Robbers Cave.
